Stop at Jekyll Island’s Turtle Center for discovery into this prehistoric animal.
Day 3: Savannah embodies southern charm with her Victorian District, elegant homes and 21 public squares. An optional narrated trolley tour showcases the historic quarter. Tonight, learn about the area’s history and native coastal birds.
Day 4: Travel into the heart of lowcountry to beautiful Beaufort, SC, located on Port Royal Island. A walking tour highlights Gullah history before an estuarian delves into the world of salt marsh marine life. Later, learn about the history of the Antebellum dance.
Day 5: Set against cobblestone streets and trademark palmettos, Charleston delivers the ambience of the Old South. You may choose to tour an elegant plantation home.
Day 6: Once a bustling Colonial seaport, Georgetown, SC is still teeming with activity. Tonight, the history of the South comes alive as a storyteller in period costume joins us for a lively performance.
Day 7: Perched on the banks of the Cape Fear River, Wilmington boasts a cultural flair set against a beach town. Tonight a local artist unlocks your creative side!
Day 8: Beaufort, NC is located on “The Crystal Coast.” This evening an area expert discusses efforts to preserve the tradition of the wild horses of Shackleford.
Day 9: Travel through Belhaven, or “Beautiful Harbor,” a coastal community in North Carolina’s spectacular Inner Banks region.
Day 10: Rich maritime history is yours to discover in Norfolk, home to the world’s largest naval base.
Day 11: Norfolk offers everything from botanical gardens to battleships! Tonight, a local musician and historian will entertain you with the history, customs and sounds of sea.
Day 12: Welcome to Baltimore, known as “Charm City” because of its ample waterfront attractions. Today sample wines of the region as a Boordy Vineyards joins you onboard.
Day 13: From the mouth of the Chesapeake to the heart of the Big Apple! Today you’ll cruise through New York Harbor and perhaps catch a glimpse of the Statue of Liberty. 
Day 14: Newport is a blend of historic port and chic resort town. An optional tour of Newport includes visiting “The Breakers,” one of the magnificent Gilded Age “summer cottages” owned by the Vanderbilts.
Day 15: Disembark in Warren, RI.
