Day One

Day Two

Good morning…Imperial Oil Station. In the afternoon will be a guided tour of Manoir-Papineau once the home of the Louis-Joseph Papineau a leading figure in Canadian Politcs and his family between1850-1929, now a National historic site operated by Parks Canada.Brief Outline of the Days Events



  • Tour Cumberland Museum

  • Depart for Montebello

  • Tour Manior-Papineau and see Chateau Montebello from the water

Day Three

Today we are bound for Lachine a quaint borough of Montreal. Before we exit the Ottawa river, a few words. The Ottawa River was first explored by Samuel de Champlain in 1613 and is the largest tributary of the St. Lawrence River. The total length of this river is 790 statute miles with a total drop of no less than 1,100 feet.Brief Outline of the Days Events



  • Depart Carillon bound for Lachine

  • Pass through Ste. Anne de Bellevue Lock

  • Arrive Lachine for 2 1/2 hour guided bus tour of Montreal

Day Four

En route to Upper Canada Village we will pass through a series of 4 International Seaway locks and you're sure to encounter some large lakers and ocean-going "salties" who are always ready and willing to greet you with a blast of those great ship's horns.
