Daily Itinerary

Day 1: Embark in Charleston, SC

Day 2: Charleston, SC

You’ll waken this morning to the most stunning views of Charleston Harbor and the charming architecture of Charleston. Walk the cobblestone streets where the first shots of the Civil War were fired.

Day 3: Georgetown, SC

Tour the coastal town of Georgetown, widely believed to be the probable site of the first European settlement. Georgetown has more than 50 homes, sites and public buildings on the National Register of Historic Places, in addition to four museums. Optional tram tours or ghost tours available.

Day 4: Southport, NC

At the mouth of the Cape Fear River, Fort Johnston was built to protect against pirates! Southport is now a beautiful, historic town with delicious crab-cake sandwiches. Find a place to have a bite.

Day 5: Beaufort, NC

Here in North Carolina’s Outer Banks, Blackbeard ran aground his flagship, the Queen Anne’s Revenge! Today, the Southern Banks are a protected habitat for wild horses, romping through the marshes. Also, you can visit the Beaufort Historic Site or the North Carolina Maritime Museum.

Day 6: Little Alligator River

Day 7: Norfolk, VA

Set on the Chesapeake Bay, Norfolk is known for its music, history and antiques. An optional tour to Norfolk Naval Base and MacArthur Memorial is available. Or you can choose an optional guided walk through the Norfolk Botanical Gardens. This evening, a local musician and historian will come onboard.

Day 8: Scenic Cruising

Day 9: Baltimore, MD

Start the discovery of Baltimore as soon as you step off the ship in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor – find the closest crab shack for a taste of the world famous fresh crab! Other attractions include the USS Constellation or the National Aquarium. There are optional tours available in the morning and afternoon.

Day 10: New York City, NY

This morning you’ll cruise into New York Harbor! The Big Apple is yours to explore, or choose an optional city tour.

Day 11: Newport, RI

Oh, the opulent mansions of Newport! Will you choose the optional tour to The Breakers, the summer cottage of the Vanderbilt family?

Day 12: Disembark in Warren, RI
