Sunday: Paris to Auxerre

Your chauffeur will pick you up at 2pm in Paris, taking you to the champagne welcome awaiting you onboard the L’Art de Vivre, moored in Auxerre.

Monday: Auxerre to Vincelles

Cruising past vineyard-covered hills, we’ll moor in Vincelles this morning. In the afternoon, we’ll visit Chablis, home of one of the world’s most famous white wines. We must have a tasting, of course, at one of the town’s aged cellars!

Tuesday: Vincelles to Mailly la Ville

We’ll have a morning excursion after breakfast, visiting the magnificent cathedral in Auxerre. The barge will cruise past grazing Charolais cattle, so take this time to enjoy the pastoral views of French countryside. Relax on deck, perhaps in the hot tub, with some wine.

Wednesday: Mailly la Ville to Le Saussois

Have your cameras ready as we visit the 14th century medieval market village of Noyers and cruise past the Saussois cliffs.

Thursday: La Saussois to Coulanges

Our morning will be spent in Vezelay, home to the Romanesque Basilica of St. Mary Magdalene.

Friday: Coulages to Chevroches

This morning we’ll cruise through the countryside before reaching our final mooring in Chevroches. Take an excursion to the Chateau of Bazoches before our Captain’s Farewell Dinner.

Saturday: Chevroches to Paris

You’ll be chauffeured to Paris after breakfast. Plan to arrive in Paris at 1pm. Are you interested in lengthening your vacation with a few nights stay in Paris? Ask our agents for hotel and tour recommendations.
