Day One

Your 1000 Islands Encounter cruise commences with boarding in historic Kingston, Ontario. If possible, plan to arrive in Kingston early and spend some time in this historic and vibrant community.

* Captain’s Welcome and Reception – Crew introductions
* Kingston Harbour tour bound for 1000 Islands anchorage
* Soft piano music on the player piano

Day Two

Weigh anchor to wander leisurely through the Admiralty Group of the Thousand Islands en-route to the Heritage Center of the 1000 Islands. Then it’s onto Millionaires’ Row once the playground of the rich and famous from the turn of the last century. Continue cruising east along the Canadian side of the river to Brockville for a guided tour of the Brockville museum. Depart Brockville bound for Upper Canada Village – Chrysler Park Marina overnight.

Day Three

When was the last time you were in a horse-drawn wagon? After breakfast, horse-drawn wagons will be waiting to take us to the Village – a distance of approximately 1 1/2 miles. When you pass through the gate into the Village, you will be stepping back into the past.

* Depart Upper Canada Village for Coteau Landing

Day Four

As we approach our berth in Old Montreal, we’ll pass by “Man and His World”, site of the World’s Fair in 1967. You’ll recognize Buckminster Fuller’s geodesic dome, and many of you will recognize “The Big O” (Olympic Stadium) home of Montreal’s many sporting and recreational events (originally constructed for the 1976 Olympics).

* Depart Coteau Landing bound for Old Port of Montreal
* Pass through Beauharnois Locks into Lake St. Louis
* Tour Montreal Harbour
* Arrive Montreal for debarkation, Closing Ceremonies (Grand Saloon)

Day One

Your cruise commences with boarding in historic Montreal, Quebec. If possible, plan to arrive in Montreal early and spend some time in this historic and vibrant community.

Day Two

En route to Upper Canada Village we will pass through a series of 4 International Seaway locks and you’re sure to encounter some large lakers and ocean-going “salties” who are always ready and willing to greet you with a blast of those great ship’s horns. There are seven locks in the St. Lawrence River; five in Canada and two in the United States.

* Depart Lachine bound for Upper Canada Village
* Pass through four Locks
* Arrive in Upper Canada Village

Day Three

Our horse-drawn wagons will return from Upper Canada Village to the ship for lunch and our departure bound for Prescott, Ontario where we’ll tour historic Fort Wellington, originally built during the war of 1812 and later reconstructed as a result of the Upper Canada Rebellion in 1837-8.

* Arrive Prescott, board buses for Fort Wellington tour
* Arrive Brockville, Ontario (City of the 1000 Islands)

Day Four

Make sure you have your cameras and binoculars in hand because we will be departing Brockville to wander leisurely through the famous and beautiful 1000 Islands en route to Rockport, Ontario. Upon arriving a bus will be waiting for a transfer to the 1000 Islands Skydeck for a panoramic view of the Islands from 350′.
