Day 1
Meet the crew of the Island Spirit in LaConner, WA. Lunch is provided on boarding. Today we visit the Tulip fields in Mt. Vernon. You’ll enjoy stops at two unique tulip farms and information provided by a step on docent. Afterwards, return to the ship for a safety briefing followed by embarkation. This evening we’ll anchor in a quiet bay and enjoy the sounds of the islands. All’s quiet, our unique vessel runs on batteries at night for a great night’s sleep!

Day 2
Spend a leisurely morning in Friday Harbor to visit shops and galleries. You’ll enjoy a hosted visit to the Whale museum to learn about our local orca pods. Later this afternoon we cast off to enjoy a wildlife search of the area. We’ll enjoy time among the islands. Your Captain will point out sights along the way and give you history of the area. If time allows, we plan to visit a few local Island jewels. We take a short land tour to American Camp and the local Alpaca Ranch. Later today, we’ll stop at Roche Harbor, an upscale marina and haven for local yachters. Enjoy a walk to the garden, and then go further to the sculpture garden to see works of island artisans.

Day 3
Breakfast departure – cruise through the islands and out into the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Watch for shipping and playful porpoise. We’re off on a new adventure to Orcas Island. We plan to visit Mt. Constitution at Moran State Park. Enjoy the Spectacular view of the islands. Afterwards we visit a historic resort in the islands. Once a mansion to rich shipbuilder Robert Moran, now home to playful folks on their San Juan Islands vacation. Enjoy some unique features, sights and sounds. Tonight we dock inside the protected bay at Penn Cove and enjoy scenic vistas.

Day 4
Today we enjoy Coupeville, Wa. We’ll tour Fort Casey and Admiralty Head lighthouse. A wonderful vista and park on Whidbey Island. Learn about the 10 inch guns, once moved to the Pacific theatre for use in the Philippines during WWII. Later, moved back home for
exhibit at the entrance to Puget Sound, a classic old WW I fort. Afterwards, we’ll also visit the local Island County Historical Society to learn more about the area. Tonight enjoy town or relax on board.

Day 5
Enjoy breakfast, and a cruising morning. We’re underway for Seattle’s waterfront. We’ll view the mansions on lake Washington. Afterwards
we enjoy a final evening anchored on the Lake Washington.
