HAVANA, IL Bow landing along the banks of the Illinois River. Optional trip to the restored pioneer village of New Salem where Abraham Lincoln once lived.

ALTON, IL This river town is filled with historic homes and specialty shops along "Antique Row." Optional tour of nearby St. Louis, the Gateway to the West.

ST. GENEVIEVE, MO Stroll the only surviving French Colonial village in the United States (northbound only).

GRAND RIVERS, KY Dock in Green Turtle Bay Marina at the entrance to Land Between the Lakes.

PICKWICK DAM, TN Once a riverboat stop in the 1800s. You may choose to tour Shiloh Military Park.

RANKIN LOCK/MONTGOMERY LOCK Overnight stop.

COLUMBUS, MS (bow landing) visit nearby Waverly Mansion, the quintessential plantation home with an elaborate foyer revealing three floors of balconies.

DEMOPOLIS, AL At mile marker 335 we join the Tennessee-Tombigbee Watereway. Tour the Tom Bevill Visitor Center, a Greek Revival antebellum home featuring exhibits on river life.

MOBILE, AL Tour Bellingrath Gardens and Home, a magnificent showplace of Spanish moss-hung oaks.
