AmaWaterways has been one of our most popular river cruise line in Europe. Today, they’re announcing a new partner that will help create family-friendly Danube River cruises for 2016: Disney! The vessel will be custom-built to accommodate up to 5 family members per cabin and will cruise between Budapest, Hungary and Vilshofen, Germany for 7-night cruises. The new itinerary will be offered the entire month of July, and one sailing in December.
There will be a variety of Jr. Adventure activities on board and family-oriented shore excursions. Your kids or grandkids could learn to make Bavarian pretzels, or watch a live falconry show at the 900-year-old Hohenwerfen Castle. They will be able to try authentic local cuisine, with a back-up kids menu if goulash is just not their thing. Minimum age will be 4, but recommended age is 8+.
