On to the SS Legacy and the Columbia River. WOW! What a wonderful experience. The crew was incredible. The food was incredible. The spaces (dining room, lounge/bar, cabins) were incredible. The tours were incredible. The lecturers were incredible. The free massage was wonderful. The ship has an elevator so once you are on board, stairs are not a problem. But at a couple of ports we did have to go up and down stairs – some of the passengers had mobility issues, but the crew was very helpful and only once did a passenger opt to stay on board (more due to the heat and having overdone it the day before – she was in her 90’s!). This is the perfect cruise for someone who enjoys history, nature and quiet.  Even though the ship can handle 88 passengers, we only had 33 so we were completely spoiled.  It was heavenly – we even had lovely weather.  It is an expensive cruise – but it is worth every penny as far as we are concerned – Phil, Sally & Jim are in agreement.

So there you are.  We had a wonderful time from start to finish!  Can’t say enough good things about the SS Legacy and her crew!

Sincerely, Kris & Jim
