This year, Cunard Cruise Lines was a sponsor for the 2017 Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show! Westminster Dog Show is the 2nd largest continuously held sporting event (behind the Kentucky Derby), and is hosted in New York City. The Queen Mary 2, operated by Cunard, is the only passenger liner to carry dogs and cats, making for a perfect fit as a sponsor! During the 3 days of the Show, 24,000 visitors went to Piers 92/94 where Cunard had a photo booth set up with Cunard bellman, and doggie bandanas and cookies – for dogs and their people! Cunard also offered the 2017 Best in Show winners an invitation to sail one of their iconic transatlantic cruises. Congratulations to this year’s winner, Rumor, and her owners.
