    A Low Country Heritage Tour is included, as well as a historic horse-drawn carriage ride! You might enjoy an expert guide led walking tour of local movie sites - quite a number have been filmed here including the Big Chill, Forrest Gump, and Rules of Engagement. The town has wonderful architecture showcasing its Spanish, French, and English influences.

    Take a city tour on the cobblestone streets of Charleston! This charming town is known for its beautiful pastel antebellum homes, gas-lit lamps, and many fascinating museums. The site of historic Civil War and Revolutionary War battles, legends of pirates, and the legendary Fort Sumter. Visit the beautiful Magnolia Gardens plantation on one of the excursion options.

    9Myrtle Beach, SC
    Myrtle Beach is a great stop! Take a walk along the beach, but also visit the Brookgreen Gardens and maybe the Palace Theatre.

    10Wilmington, NC
    Tour the antebellum homes and historic mansions in the busy port of Wilmington.

    11Beaufort, NC/Morehead City, NC
    Included for tour: Double-Decker Bus Tour! Beaufort's 21 block historic district is bordered by a wood boardwalk and unique shops to wander. The 300 year old history comes alive with stories of unique characters found on the Historical Burial Grounds Exploration guided tour.

    Take a day to rest! Enjoy the cuisine, the wine, and the break from sight-seeing. Make sure you’ve got room on your camera for a great photo of the coastline and a sunset.

    13Kitty Hawk, NC
    Forever known for the birth of the airplane, a visit to the Wright Brothers Memorial is a highlight. The wide open sandy beaches and even winds were the perfect spot for the brothers to use as their testing ground.

    14Norfolk, VA
    Visit the Norfolk Naval Base and MacArthur Memorial, as well as the Old Cape Henry Lighthouse and Botanical Gardens. The day is filled with options for excursions to suite your fancy. The Naval Academy's chapel is a stunning piece of architecture to see, or a visit to the local aquarium or art museum, or a personally guided tour to Portsmouth where you can visit the Historic Trinity Episcopal Church established in 1762..

In New England, you could find Littleneck clam ceviche on the menu followed by a spiced apple pudding with maple whipped cream. In the Pacific Northwest, you’ll find fresh fish on the menu, including shrimp bisque or Dungeness Crab cake, and a marionberry cheesecake that’ll make your mouth water! Your ship will provide you with a list of all the locally-sourced ingredients when you unpack.
