Have you heard of the New Madrid Seismic Zone? It caused more than 1,000 earthquakes from 1811 to 1812 making the city rather famous. You'll learn about these earthquakes from actual seismograph readings, as well as the Battle of Island Number Ten in the Civil War, and Native American artifacts.

5Paducah, KY
Paducah sits at the crossroads of the Mississippi, Ohio, Cumberland and Tennessee Rivers. Popular stops in Paducah include the National Quilt Museum, Lloyd Tilghman House and Civil War Museum, and the Paducah Railroad Museum!

6Savannah, TN
This town is know for the famous Civil War battle, the Battle of Shiloh, or the Battle of Pittsburgh Landing which occurred on April 6, 1862. Learn the towns many stories history and war as well as winding down trails along the Tennessee River.

7Decatur, AL
There were only four structures that survived intact through the Civil War in this town, and you'll want to see one of them- the beautiful Old State Bank Building! People sat in the bank's vault as a safe haven from the mortars, bullets, and cannons erupting outside.

You’ll spot the buses right away – they look just like the ship! Two buses travel alongside the boat from port to port. At every port, you’ll be able to board these buses for the Hop-On Hop-Off shore excursions. The bus will have a set route in the town, and you can ride until you see someplace you want to go. Then catch the bus the next time it comes thru.
