Upon your arrival at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, you'll be greeted by representatives of American Cruise Lines and transported to your hotel accommodations in Tacoma. In the afternoon, gather at the hotel for a Welcome Reception, where you’ll meet your fellow travelers, enjoy refreshments, and receive a brief overview of the exciting week ahead. In the evening, all guests will travel to a local popular restaurant to enjoy a festive Welcome Dinner, savoring locally inspired cuisine in a uniquely Northwest setting.

2Mount Rainier National Park
After breakfast at the hotel, start your journey to Mount Rainier National Park, known for having one of the most prominent volcanoes in the contiguous U.S., as well the highest peak in the Cascade Range, Mount Rainier itself. Led by your Adventure Guides, step into a world of natural and cultural heritage at the Longmire Historic District. Enjoy a leisurely hike through old-growth forests, explore the Longmire Museum, and take in the charm of the historic buildings that tell the story of the park's early days. Located on the southern slope of the mountain at about 5,400 feet in elevation is Paradise, offering sweeping views of Mount Rainier’s massive glaciers and surrounding valleys. Take time to wander through the historic Paradise Inn and the Henry M. Jackson Visitor Center for fascinating exhibits and interpretive displays. Stop midday for lunch in the fresh mountain air.

3Mount Rainier National Park
Set out for a memorable exploration of the lands surrounding Mount Rainier. Board our comfortable motorcoach for a ride to a local Indigenous community, where you will be treated to an enriching cultural experience. Through shared stories and traditions, gain a meaningful understanding of the people who have called this region home for generations. The visit includes a traditional meal, offering a taste of regional heritage and hospitality. Continue to the Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge, a peaceful sanctuary for birdwatchers and nature enthusiasts alike. 4Port Angeles, WA
Set off on an enriching journey to the northern gateway of the Olympic Peninsula. Along the way, stop in the heart of Washington’s government, the State Capitol in Olympia. Take a guided tour of the grand Legislative Building, gaining insight into the state’s history and political landscape. Lunch in Olympia features a taste of the town’s dynamic culinary scene before continuing your route north. Pause at a scenic spot nestled along Hood Canal, where you can take in the sweeping waterfront views. Next, visit Dungeness Spit, a unique natural formation and wildlife refuge that extends dramatically into the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Arriving in Port Angeles, the Gateway to Olympic National Park, check into your hotel. Cap off your day with a dinner at a popular bistro, where local ingredients and mountain-lodge charm set the tone for the adventure ahead.

5Olympic National Park
Head to Olympic National Park with your Adventure Guides. This diverse destination features temperate rainforests, views of the Pacific coastline, and snow-capped mountains all in one place. Enjoy the drive along Lake Crescent, a glacier-carved, crystal-clear lake surrounded by soaring evergreens. Admire the magnificent views and capture stunning photos as you make your way to the glacier. Continue west through the small town of Forks, a charming and remote outpost that offers a glimpse into the quiet life on the Olympic Peninsula. Explore the Hoh Rainforest, one of the few remaining temperate rainforests in the world, where you can enjoy a picnic lunch. Then, travel toward the dramatic coastline of Ruby Beach, a windswept stretch of shore known for its sea stacks, driftwood, and tidepools.

6Burlington, WA
Head into the mountains for a morning excursion to Hurricane Ridge, where breathtaking views await. Below the ridge, deep forested valleys disappear into the distance, while on a clear day, you can see all the way to the Strait of Juan de Fuca and even Vancouver Island. From there, begin your journey north to the historic seaport of Port Townsend, known for its Victorian architecture and vibrant arts scene. Stop for a leisurely lunch, where local flavors are served with beautiful views of the waterfront. Travel to Deception Pass State Park, featuring towering cliffs, forested trails, and the iconic Deception Pass Bridge connecting Whidbey and Fidalgo Islands. 7North Cascades National Park

As you enter the park, stop at the North Cascades Visitor Center, where exhibits and rangers provide insight into the beauty and ecological significance of this wild mountain range. From here, choose your adventure with two beautiful hikes: The Trail of the Cedars, which is a moderate trail that winds through towering old-growth forest, or The Ladder Creek Falls Trail, a more difficult short walk to cascading waterfalls and lush moss-covered surroundings. Next, pause to admire Gorge Creek Falls, before continuing to one of the park’s crown jewels, Diablo Lake, surrounded by glacier-carved peaks and surreal turquoise waters. After, stop to enjoy jaw-dropping views of Liberty Bell Mountain and the surrounding wilderness, the perfect finale to your North Cascades experience. After breakfast at the hotel, we will take you to your ship in Tacoma to begin your journey along Puget Sound and the San Juan Islands. Find a comfortable spot on the ship and bask in the beauty that stretches out before you.

9Anacortes, WA
As the “Gateway to the San Juan Islands”, this charming town is truly a hidden gem. With its quaint streets lined with historic buildings and panoramic views of the surrounding waters and forested islands, Anacortes exudes a timeless elegance. Here, maritime heritage intertwines seamlessly with modern-day coastal living making it the perfect place to wander or kick it into high gear on board an aluminum jet catamaran to see seaside town from every angle.
