Theme Cruises

Antebellum South: The Old South is about traditions, nostalgia, and hospitality. You’ll experience all three on these American Queen cruises. On the lower Mississippi River, you’ll visit small river towns, big, bustling cities of music, and plantations with the best views of the river. Embark on the Great River Road!

The 50s and 60s Remembered: The Grand Saloon will be Rockin’ and Rollin’ as you cruise the Mississippi River on the American Queen! Put on your dancin’ shoes and shake it all night long to the music of the 1950’s and 60’s! From the silky smooth tones of Frank Sinatra and Nat King Cole, to the groovin’ tunes of the Stones, Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix and the Beatles, you’ll find the right music to move you on this summer cruise.

New Year’s Celebration: For your new year’s resolution, you’re going to travel. And to start the year off right, ring in the new year onboard the American Queen! You’ll celebrate the entire week, but everyone will gather in the Grand Saloon for the special New Year’s Eve gala! With all your new friends, or the old friends you brought with you, enjoy champagne, sing ‘Auld Lang Syne’, and celebrate in style.
