Your Itinerary

1Sunday: Paris to Plombieres-les-Dijon
A crew member will pick up the party and chauffeur you to the barge via Mercedes Minivan to where the Prosperite is anchored in Plombieres-les-Dijon. After settling in, join the group for a champagne reception and gourmet dinner.

2Monday: Plombieres-les-Dijon to Fleury-sur-Ouche
Your morning cruise will pass through your first lock. After lunch, the afternoon will be an introduction the Cote d’Or wine region. You’ll head towards, an ancient chateau where monks made wine.

3Tuesday: Fleury-sur-Ouche to Gissey-sur-Ouche
Visit Dijon, including the historic district and covered food market. Browse the tiny shops before returning to the Prosperite for lunch. The barge will continue its journey to Gissey-sur-Ouche this afternoon – you can casually ride onboard or choose to take the bicycles into villages on your way.

4Wednesday: Gissey-sur-Ouche to La Bussiere-sur-Ouche
The short cruise this morning will have us spending the day exploring the region around La Bussiere-sur-Ouche. After lunch, visit the village of Chateauneuf-en-Auxois overlooking the canal, where you can walk the cobblestoned streets to find a local shop open or visit the old chateau with history to explore. Dinner will be at Abbaye de la Bussiere, a Michelin-starred restaurant (formerly a Cistercian Abbey).

5Thursday: La Bussiere-sur-Ouche to Pont d’Ouche
Walk, bike, or cruise through the Ouche Valley. After lunch, you’ll visit Beaune, the wine capital of Cote d’Or. Beneath the streets lie miles of wine cellars. For a glimpse at life in the Middle Ages, visit the 15th century hospital Hotel Dieu. If you have time, you can sip cafe in the square, or enjoy a wine tasting.

6Friday: Pont d’Ouche to Vandenesse-en-Auxois
Sit back and watch the vineyards go by on your final morning cruise aboard the Prosperite. You’ll have a cellar tour and wine tasting at Domaine Prieur-Brunet in Santenay. In the evening, share memories and new experiences over cocktails and the festive Captain’s Dinner.

7Saturday: Return to Paris
You’ll depart the barge this morning and be chauffeured to Charles de Gaulle Airport, or other central location in Paris.
