Upper Mississippi River Cruise – American Serenade

Sailing on American Serenade

The Upper Mississippi River is prime location to discuss one of the greatest American authors and commentators in our history: Mark Twain! Not only will you be cruising the river he loved so dearly, you’ll be able to visit the important Tom Sawyer town of Hannibal. The boyhood home of Samuel Clemens (Mark Twain), Hannibal is a great small river town for you to explore. Visit the actual home he grew up in, surrounded by the whitewashed fence. You can also visit Becky Hatcher’s home and Huck Finn’s home, and take your picture with the Tom and Huck Statue on Cardiff Hill.
