The Prosperite is an ultra-deluxe 8-passenger barge on the Canal de Bourgogne in Southern Burgundy. Prosperite’s Barge Manager has longstanding connections in the Burgundy region, having worked in the barge industry since 1993. He works with local sommeliers, artisans and community members to bring regional expertise to the Prosperite guests. The cabins are generous in size, providing you a personal haven. The open kitchen is perfect if you’re looking to collect some french cooking tips from your onboard chef. The vibrant itinerary is full of intimate experiences that will immerse you in Burgundian life, from working vineyards to markets and villages along the way. Evenings are perfect for walking or biking along the towpath, or relax in the ondeck hot tub.
