Todd Weber is a mountain man. As a young teenager, he made a pair of moccasins that began a collection of clothing and accessories to turn this Arizona man into a frontier mountain man! Todd read journals and historical accounts of the early American settlement of the West, committing to memory so many details about the lifestyle and the events of the past. Todd worked for over 25 years as a coordinator and instructor for outdoor education in Arizona, giving him years of practice and experience presenting his passion for the history of the American West to groups. He then began leading adult groups on historic trips to the Grand Canyon and other locations to teach the history of mountain men, river explorers, Lewis & Clark, and more!
If you ask any of our clients who have cruised when Todd was the onboard historian, they’ll unanimously agree that Todd was a highlight of their week! You can cruise with Todd – we have his annual schedule. Choose a date and destination that works for you and enjoy a week of stories about fur traders, the lives of the indigenous people of the region, and learning of the realities of the frontier.
