2Glacier National Park, Montana
This morning, awaken to a new world! Whether you're in the Sightseer Lounge, or from your seat in the Dining Car, you'll be glued to the stunning views from your window. This evening we'll arrive in East Glacier Park, home to 25 glaciers, over 130 named lakes, 200 waterfalls, and more than 1000 different plant species - a breathtaking wonder, to be sure! We'll check in and get settled into out hotel. Overnight at the Glacier Park Lodge.
Board the open-air Red Jammer buses for a tour of Glacier National Park. We'll take the Going-to-the-Sun Road across the Continental Divide! At Lake McDonald Lodge, we'll stop for independent exploration and lunch. Overnight at the Glacier Park Lodge. (B,D)
4Many Glacier and Swiftcurrent Lake
We'll spend the day in the region known as Many Glacier, surrounded by the tall peaks of the Lewis Range. The town dates back to the early 1900s. We'll take a boat tour of Swiftcurrent Lake, and get lunch at Many Glacier Hotel. Overnight at the Glacier Park Lodge. (B,L)
5Yellowstone National Park
Today is our travel day from Glacier to Yellowstone! Overnight at Canyon Lodge in Yellowstone National Park. (B)
6Yellowstone National Park
Our first full day in Yellowstone will include a guided tour of the most well-known attractions like the Upper and Lower Falls, Old Faithful, Fountain Paint Pot, the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, and more! Overnight at Canyon Lodge in Yellowstone National Park. (B)
7Jackson and Grant Teton National Park
You'll have the morning to explore Yellowstone at your leisure, before we depart for Grand Teton National Park. Here the towering mountains and abundance of wildlife will have you in awe. Overnight at The Lodge at Jackson Hole, Jackson, WY. (B)
8Grand Teton National Park
After breakfast we'll take a float trip on the Snake River, giving you unique views of the Teton Mountain Range. The remainder of the day is open to you to explore Jackson. Overnight at The Lodge at Jackson Hole, Jackson, WY. (B)
9National Oregon/California Trail Center and Salt Lake City
This morning we'll head to the National Oregon/California Trail Center in Montpelier, Idaho. The interpretive center has a simulated wagon train, and shows what pioneer life was like. Then we'll continue on to Salt Lake City. Overnight hotel stay in Salt Lake City, UT. (B,L)
We'll take the scenic drive from Salt Lake City to Moab through San Rafael Valley. Overnight at Red Cliffs Lodge, Moab, UT. (B)
11Arches National Park
We'll head out first thing for a tour of Arches, home to more than 2000 rock formations of all different sizes and colors! We'll make sure to see Delicate Arch and Landscape Arch on our tour. Overnight at Red Cliffs Lodge in Moab, UT. (B,D)
12Canyonlands National Park and Dead Horse Point State Park
The colorful canyons and mesas will be on full display today in Canyonlands National Park. We'll also spend some time today in Dead Horse Point State Park, with fantastic views of the Colorado River. Overnight at DoubleTree by Hilton, Grand Junction, Colorado. (B)
We'll board the California Zephyr for our passage east. Today we can watch the Colorado Rockies go by from the Sightseer Lounge. Overnight stay onboard the train.
