    This morning we'll meet in Denver to board our deluxe motorcoach to drive up Clear Creek Canyon. We'll eat lunch before boarding the Georgetown Loop Railroad. Originally, the train connected Georgetown and Silver Plume, both mining towns. After our scenic train ride, we'll head to Colorado Springs for dinner. Overnight hotel stay in Colorado Springs, Colorado. (L,D)

    2Garden of the Gods
    This morning, we'll board the world's highest cog railway: Pikes Peak Cog Railway. We'll ascend to the 14,000 foot of Pikes Peak - a breathtaking once in a lifetime experience! After we descend, we'll had to Garden of the Gods Visitor and Nature Center for lunch and a narrated tour. Overnight hotel stay in Colorado Springs, Colorado. (B)

    3Scenic Drive to Durango
    Let's drive west over the Rockies today! We'll use the Ute, Trout Creek, Poncha and Wolf Creek passes today. Keep your eyes peeled for wildlife in the mountains on our journey to Durango. We'll stop for lunch in Salida, then hear our guide explain the history and geology of southern Colorado as we drive into Luis Valley on the southern edge of the San Juan Mountains. Overnight at The Strater in Durango, Colorado. (B)

    4Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad
    Today we'll embark on the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad! This steam-powered train will take us up the Animas River Canyon to Silverton, a ghost town! You'll be able to explore Silverton before we head back to Durango by coach. Overnight at The Strater in Durango, Colorado. (B)

    5Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad
    We'll cross the border into Chama, New Mexico this morning to board the longest narrow-gauge steam railway in North America: the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad! The route follows the old Denver & Rio Grande San Juan Extension over the Cumbres Pass for 64 miles. The train then travels deep into the canyon of the Rio des los Pinos (River of Pines). We'll stop in Osier for lunch, then continue by rail past Toltec Gorge. Overnight at the Holiday Inn Express, Alamosa, Colorado. (B,L,D)

    6Rio Grande Scenic Railroad
    From Alamosa to La Veta, we'll ride the Rio Grande Scenic Railroad. Regularly scheduled passenger trains stopped service for over 50 years until this line was restored. Then we'll continue by coach to Great Sand Dunes National Park. You'll marvel at the towering sand dunes in the valley! Overnight at the Holiday Inn Express, Alamosa, Colorado. (B,L)

    7Royal Gorge Route Railroad
    We'll head down into the Royal Gorge canyon aboard the Royal Gorge Route Railroad. The Vista Dome Car offers great view as the train pauses under the Suspension Bridge! After we'll head back to Denver and enjoy a night on your own. Overnight Hilton Garden Inn Denver Downtown, Denver, Colorado. (B,L)

    After breakfast, we'll say our goodbyes. Talk to our agents about arranging transfers to the Denver rail station or airport. (B)
