This morning we head to the Float Barn, for a look at some of the stunning floats that will be featured in the Rose Parade. These extravagant creations are made by hundreds of volunteers. See the precise placement of each flower and how they must adhere to the requirement that everything on the float is comprised of organic material. Then we visit the Huntington Library, Art Collections, and Botanical Gardens. The Huntington Library is comprised of three entities, the Library with its collection of rare and historic books including a Gutenburg Bible, the Huntington Art Gallery, devoted primarily to British and French art of the 18th and 19th centuries, including Gainsborough’s Blue Boy, and the Botanical Gardens, which features several themed gardens for your enjoyment.
