August 2007 American Queen cruise was "fantastic!"
We loved being on the American Queen, relaxing on the deck and watching small town America go by, when we stopped we got off the ship and visited many of these charming small cities with some of the nicest folk around. We found each and every stop filled with rich history and very friendly people. Many of the tours were educational and the guides were all local and full of information. The cabins were wonderful and we even had a full bath tub in our bathroom, something you hardly ever see on big ships.
What we liked most was getting to know the staff and the passengers, because there are no crowds or lines you really get to talk with everyone and make lifelong friends as we did. If we were to say one word to describe our cruise it was fantastic!!! We had so much fun, that we booked another cruise with USA River Cruises for the Columbia River this summer and we can't wait to take it!!!
