We all had a wonderful cruise and Cindy of USA River Cruises did a great job getting us the best cabins for the best prices and arranging all of our travel to and from the cruise, including a wonderful hotel in New York City. Cruising aboard the American Spirit River Boat along the Hudson River this fall was so beautiful with all the colorful foliage.
The Hudson River is known as one of the distinctive rivers in America and is rich in beauty and history. The cruise began in New York Harbor and included a morning walk at West Point Academy with a church service with the cadets. The boat made stops at Catskill, Albany, Kingston, Troy and Sleepy Hollow.
The ships cabins are the largest we have ever been in and the service is fantastic, the gourmet meals which include wine with dinner are usually done with local cuisine and are heavenly. These ships also do the Antebellum South and Great Rivers of Florida, which we look forward to doing in the future!
