Taste. Learn. Experience.

Culinary focused cruises can be a fabulous way to come away from a cruise with more than just photos. You’ll come away with knowledge. Learn some of those head chef secrets with Emerald Cruises. Join renowned Chef Ben Robinson onboard Emerald Cruises luxury yachts, Emerald Azzurra and Emerald Sakara as they sail the Mediterranean and the Caribbean and taste the world.

You will do much more than taste your way on this journey – you will learn from presentations with tips on how to wow friends and family at your next party and learn more during special onshore excursions. The culinary cruises offer a chance to meet the chef, watch demonstrations, answer your cooking questions, and come away inspired.

Chef Ben believes food is not only nourishment but medicine and art. He is a Certified Health Coach which gives him the upper hand with dietary restrictions. He enjoys the puzzling aspect of food creations and surprises each client with a one of a kind, tailor-made dinner experience.

He will be joining the journey on two special upcoming voyages. For both voyages you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy menus custom-tailored by Chef Ben, watch his live cooking demonstration, be a part of a Q&A session with him and take pleasure in an exclusive excursion accompanied by Chef Ben himself.

The Ships

What is a luxury yacht? Much more than a cruise ship, a luxury yacht offers guests an experience you won’t find on bigger ships. You won’t feel like just one in a sea of people. With just 100 passengers on board, you experience the life you’d expect associated with the word “yacht.” Emerald Cruises is redefining what small ship cruising is about, with state-of-the-art modern ships, exceptional service, and an immersive premium experience. From the Greek islands, Italy and the French Riviera, to the sun-kissed islands of the Caribbean, travel in contemporary luxury, docking close to the action, giving you more opportunity to explore independently and off the beaten track. The Emerald Azzura was built in 2022 and the Emerald Sakara was built in 2023.

About Emerald Cruises

The two luxury yachts are the newest members of the Emerald Cruises fleet. Emerald Cruises was launched as a sister cruise line to Scenic Cruises in 2013 as a way to innovate and reimagine river cruising and create a premium European river cruise option without the premium prices. Their award-winning cruises began with the Emerald Sky, launched in 2014 and now hosts a fleet of 9 boats each carrying 180 guests in what can be described as a floating boutique hotel.

One of their most colorful itineraries is the Zurich to Amsterdam cruise. The “Tulips & the Rhine” cruise is a flower-lover’s dream, with visits to the famed Amsterdam Keukenhof Gardens with over 800 varieties of tulips, Cologne’s Old Town & a visit to their Botanical Gardens, Schwetzingen Palace & Gardens, and Koblenz with its fairytale backdrop and cobbled streets filled with homes adorned with boxes of spring-blooming flowers. A region filled with castles, vineyards, and old-world charm, this European river cruise traveling between Switzerland and the Netherlands is a romantic and colorful journey.
