Margaret and I enjoyed taking a traveling vacation without having to pack/unpack suitcases every night. The ship was clean, our rooms were nice and comfortable and the private balcony was a plus. John especially was pleased with the internet connectivity – he brought his laptop and was able to tap into the ship’s connection.
The offshore visits were well managed and planned with excellent guides.
It was especially enjoyable to be on a ship with ‘mature folks’ who enjoyed good conversation, good food, and had about the same aches, pains, and disabilities as we older folk have. One of the jokes John made one night at the dinner table, “I really like this trip because we all are on the same boat, i.e. most of us are a bit ‘hard of hearing’.”
Would we do it again? The fact that we booked a trip in 2011 speaks for itself.
