We’re excited to announce that our 2013 “replacement chef” has signed on for the upcoming season…
Chef Brent Clemente is excited to be back on board the Island Spirit for his second season! He brings 20 years of culinary experience to the galley and is looking forward to creating delicious meals for everyone aboard. Brent has travelled extensively throughout the Western United States and Alaska and has learned from some really good chefs along the way. He fell in love with Alaska 10 years ago and has been going back ever since, working at high-end, remote fishing lodges. With the fresh salmon and halibut, Dungeness crab and spot shrimp, it’s hard for a chef to go wrong and Chef Brent will “wow” you with his scrumptious seafood creations. For the non-seafood lovers, flank steak roulade with sundried tomatoes, spinach and feta and baby back ribs are sure to delight. Special dietary needs can also be accommodated with plenty of gluten-free and vegetarian options. So, bring your adventurous spirit and your appetite and we’ll see you onboard!
