We are excited to announce that the newest ship (soon to launch) on the Mississippi River now has a name: the American Eagle! For those who have been cruising the U.S. for many years, you might remember the first American Eagle, operated by the same company. The original American Eagle has been drydocked for a few years since its retirement. But now the name will live on! It is a sister ship to the Queen of the Mississippi, and very similar to her. Built and registered in the U.S., the American Eagle will also be the most environmentally-friendly ship on the river. The inaugural cruise will be March 28, 2015. Have you booked your cabin?
