American Cruise Line is pleased to unveil the details of the new Eagle Class of small cruise ships which will be introduced during the 2023 season. These “go anywhere” ships will continue American Cruise Lines’ commitment to staying small while offering guests more options than ever before for Cruising Close to Home®. Their proprietary hybrid catamaran design allows for smooth sailing along rivers, lakes, bays, and protected coastlines all across America.
At a capacity of just 109 guests, this class of ships and their corresponding itineraries will blend the best qualities of expedition adventure cruising with the refinement, luxury, stability, and land proximity of river cruising. Each new ship will feature modern décor and 56 spacious staterooms, most with private balconies. Observation and sitting areas will be available at the bow. A unique Swim/Activity Platform on the stern features kayaks and a tender for local exploration. The shallow draft of the vessels allows rare access into small ports and the ability to travel on almost any river or waterway. With land never out of sight, these small ships are a practical alternative to ocean expeditions, allowing you more time to explore each port. The streamlined design and environmentally friendly technology also make these the greenest U.S. cruise ships.
