Un-Cruise Adventures’ 88-passenger S.S. Legacy, a replica of a coastal steamer, will stay on the Willamette, Snake and Columbia rivers in the Pacific Northwest during the summer of 2015. This summer of 2014, the Legacy is doing historical cruises in Alaska.Between April and November, Legacy’s week-long river cruises sail roundtrip from Portland, Oregon, with a focus on history like Lewis and Clark’s expedition, the Oregon Trail, Native Americans, and early pioneers and entrepreneurs.
In Alaska, Un-Cruise said its six small ships will have more calls in Glacier Bay National Park in 2015. It said by rearranging itineraries, all six vessels will be able to visit the park. 79 out of its 107 Alaska cruises will access Glacier Bay National Park for two days of in-depth exploration.In total, the small-ship adventure line will have 15 itineraries in Alaska’s Inside Passage, Mexico’s Sea of Cortes, the Hawaiian Islands, the Columbia and Snake rivers, coastal Washington and British Columbia.
