I recently returned from a Seine River cruise round trip out of Paris, France. I found the Scenic River cruises a perfect example for how you get there is as important as where you’re going. I was aboard the Scenic Gem which was purposely built for the Seine River. Due to its shallow hull design, it is able to navigate from Paris all the way to the port of Honfleur. Most other river cruise vessels must dock further away. This is just the first amazing detail I am excited to share with you.

On my cruise, my fellow shipmates were primarily from Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Canada, and the United States which was an added level of enjoyment. The more I travel the world, the more I realize we are all connected as citizens of Earth.
