Our friend Susan was recently quoted in a Huffington Post article, and we’re so excited for her! The article: “5 Reasons A River Cruise Needs a Spot on Your Bucket List,” written by Suzy Strutner.

The Five Reasons are some of our favorite reasons, as well: less crowded; out-of-the-way locations and ports; always surrounded by scenery; educational programs; and you’ll make fast friends with those you’re traveling with.

The latter reason is where Susan was quoted, saying, “When you have a shared experience with someone during travel, it creates a bond. It’s common to come home from a river cruise with real, new friends.” We quite agree, Susan! We’ve seen it time and time again. Our clients often come home with new friends, even some who become forever travel friends! You have something in common already, because of the cruise style and place you chose. It’s easy to then transform that into a friendship. You could find out that you want to cruise the same rivers next, and plan to go together. Susan was very correct when she said you come from the river with friends. We always do!
