When cruising, shore excursions (I believe on every small-ship cruise) offer at least one trip to local museums. Please always remember museum etiquette: Don’t Touch the Artwork! It’s always such a shame to hear about travelers who disrespect the art, even to the point of breaking it. I was sad to hear about the tourist who broke the finger off of a 600-year-old statue in Italy. It was so easily preventable, too – just don’t touch!
