Brimstone Hill Fortress National Park

It’s rainy and gray here in the Northwest today, so we are highlighting sunshine and warm weather vacations on our blog.

Located on the island of St. Kitts in the Federation of St. Christopher and Nevis in the Eastern Caribbean, the Park is designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site of historical, cultural and architectural significance, this is a must see. Voted a 2014 Traveler’s Choice Award by TripAdvisor and ranked on USA Today Travel. Constructed over a period of 100 years, between 1690 and 1790, the Fort is an amazing example of a large military community and fortification during the 18th century. The panoramic views of the Caribbean from the Fortress are unbelievable. Visit this international time capsule!
