Celebrating the Historic South
We are celebrating the American South this week, starting with the historic Oak Alley Plantation. Built during the height of the South’s golden age, her antebellum grounds hold stories of the sugar industry, slavery, and the Civil War from times of prosperity to despair and everything between (even modern day ghost stories). You may recognize the Plantation; it is a popular filming location for many shows – everything from Days of Our Lives to a Beyoncé music video!
