Your Itinerary

    1Embark in Juneau, AK
As soon as everyone’s on board and settled with some bubbly, we’ll set out with views of the Coast Mountain and Southeast Alaska.

    2Captain's Choice
The Captain will decide which seems a better option today: Lynn Canal or Chatham Strait. Our onboard guides will help you get the appropriate gear on – you can head out by kayak or paddleboard to take in the wonders of Alaska. Watch for bald eagles in the trees, and harbor seals bobbing up around you.

    3Glacier Bay National Park
This UNESCO World Heritage Site & Biosphere Reserve is 3.3 million acres of Alaskan wonders to discover! A park ranger will come onboard at Bartlett Cove to point out amazing sites and teach us about the park’s history. On South Marble Island, we’ll see/hear/smell the sea lions! Watch for foraging bears and mountain goats, as well as orange-beaked puffins, marbled murrelets, guillemots and more. As we head towards Margerie and Grand Pacific Glaciers, you’ll notice the water turning milky white from glacial silt.

    4Icy Strait
We’re getting close to the Pacific Ocean in search of whales and other marine mammals. Sea lions, porpoises, and dolphins could all make an appearance today. You can also choose to explore the coastline, either by hiking or on the skiff.

    5Chichagof Island/Peril Strait
Join our guides for on-deck yoga this morning, which will loosen you up before your kayak or skiff ride this morning. Look for giant trees, tidal pools, and bears while hiking in the Tongass.

    6Sergius Narrows/Neva Strait
Morning fog lies thick in these woods. As we pass through the narrows, you’ll notice the shorelines coming closer… at its narrowest, 300 feet wide and 24 feet deep! Look for otters cracking a snack on their bellies, or go for a hike in the backcountry.

    7Krestof & Nakwasina Sounds
Along Baranof Island are remote, uninhabited islands, creating secluded coves and islets all along the island. Pick your adventure and get off the boat: will you explore by kayak, paddleboard, skiff, or beach combing? This evening we’ll close with a Farewell Dinner and your guides will present a look back at your trip via photos.

    8Disembark in Sitka
After breakfast, transfer to the airport or extend your stay with a hotel package.

Alaska Awakening

Cruise ships will be headed North for Alaska earlier in Spring than ever before. Yes, the weather will be colder, but you’ll be able to experience Alaska as it wakes from winter slumber! Bears, just up from their hibernation, will be rummaging along the coastline in search of fish and other food. Flowers and trees will have begun showing new growth. Although there’s still a nip in the air, the ice has begun to thaw.

Onboard Activities

This ship is equipped for your Alaska Adventure! Onboard, you’ll have access to kayaks, paddle boards, inflatable skiffs, and fitness equipment. There will be onboard yoga or other wellness activities. And you’re always welcome to warm up after your adventures in the onboard hot tub!
