The go-to independently owned bookshop found in downtown Stevenson. Wander in and find a great reference guide to local hikes, or a fun read for your vacation.

 

Skamania Lodge Zip Line

Want to see the Columbia River from above? Take the Zip Tour, which will have you soaring over the river on seven zip lines and three sky bridges. This will definitely add a unique perspective to your cruise! You’ll enjoy 2 hours of light walking and fast flying. No open-toed shoes!

 

Skamania Lodge Golf Course

This gorgeous 18-hole, par-70 course is perfectly hidden in the 175 wooded acres surrounding Skamania Lodge. If you don’t want to do a full 18-holes, there’s also a driving range, practice bunker, and chipping and putting greens.

 

Columbia Gorge Interpretive Center

The original inhabitants of this part of the Columbia Gorge were the Chinook people, and the Grand Gallery showcases who they were as a people, with early artifacts on display. Other exhibits explore the entire history of the Gorge, including the Natural History of the Gorge, Transportation, Spiritual Quest Gallery, a Rosary Collection, and so much more! And don’t forget to head outdoors to see the diesel locomotive, logging equipment, cedar log carvings and more. Open daily, 9am-5pm.

Skamania Lodge $$$

Known for its Sunday brunch, Skamania Lodge offers local cuisine with a fantastic view. The Cascade Room is open from 7am-9pm Monday thru Saturday.

 

50-40 Beer – Taproom and Pub $

Locally crafted beers served up with pub food favorites including burgers, chicken sandwiches, meatballs, pulled pork, salads, and desserts.  OpenWednesday – Sundays (closed Mon-Tues)  11:30am-8pm. Find them in Washougal.

 

Big River Grill $$

Traditional American style food with new and exciting specials.  Breakfast, lunch, and dinner plus local beers and wines.  The dinner menu includes a variety from wild Northwest salmon, grilled ribeye, lasagna, to pasta, grilled veggie sandwiches, burgers, or salads.  Find them in downtown Stevenson.

 

Granny’s Gedunk Ice Cream Parlor $

Old-fashioned ice cream parlor, serving Umpqua Ice Cream, homemade waffle cones, and mini doughnuts. Open April thru September, daily from noon to 9 pm.

 

Clark & Lewie’s Travelers Rest Saloon and Grill $$

The Old Saloon was originally opened in this location in 1908. Continuing the tradition of history and legacy is Clark & Lewie’s. Eat out on the deck overlooking the river and landing dock. Good food with a casual ambience.  Great reuben sandwich!  Open daily 11am-10pm. Find them in Stevenson.
