Columbia River Gorge

Things to Do

Sacagawea Heritage Trail – Photo Op!!

This 23-mile trail follows the Columbia River shoreline through Richland and Pasco. In an effort to preserve and honor the history of the area, the trail has signs, sculptures and more for you to enjoy. Along the trail, look for the Lewis & Clark Interpretive Overlook, a pergola looking out over the river.

Hanford Reach National Monument – Photo Op!!

A short drive NW of Richland will lead you to a large National Wildlife Refuge and Waterfowl Protection Areas. This is a great place for birding, as well as experiencing other local wildlife. Check out the unique wildlife system that exists in Washington’s desert.

White Bluffs Quilt Museum

Quilts were arguably one of the most important items brought west with the pioneers. They were shelter, padding (for those bumpy wagon rides), and warmth on a cold Oregon Trail night.

Open 10am-5pm, Tuesday thru Saturday.

Columbia Point Golf Course

Ranked 4th best course in Washington, this course features rolling fairways and moderately challenging greens. Take a stroll thru the pro shop, and enjoy a sandwich and a cool drink in the café after you finish your 18 holes.

Tagaris Winery

This family-owned estate has two vineyards: one a 200-acre stretch of 10 different grapes, and one 100 acres of Old World style grapes for more exotic wine varieties. Tasting Room open from 11am-5pm, Monday thru Saturday, and 11am-3pm on Sundays.
