Tulips in August? Not many! But there were plenty of floral decorations, tasty treats, historic sites, and great experiences while in the Netherlands!
Known for its colorful tulip displays in spring, the Netherlands (or Holland, depending upon who you ask) is still a wonderful place to visit even in late summer. Our manager/owner/agent Cindy and her husband Don had a fabulous time touring this country on a small ship canal and river cruise with Tauck Tours. All details were arranged, making the trip easy and stress-free. From the pre-cruise hotel in Amsterdam, to the excellent service on the boat, and friendly and helpful guides all along the way, this was a trip they’d highly recommend!
