An experience of a lifetime! On this Viking Ocean cruise we were able to explore Iceland, Norway and Canada with a stop in Greenland. Iceland especially is a place like no other, remote barren landscapes, glaciers and waterfalls. The cruise itself was two weeks of pampering, excellent service and interesting conversations with fellow passengers (our favorite part). Since it is a smaller ship, you don’t feel as if you are being herded and always waiting in line. No photographers and almost everything was included. Viking Ocean has everything taken care of for you.
Cindy and her team helped us plan not one but two pre extensions. I wanted extra time in Iceland and Norway. We spent a couple days in Reykjavík to recover from the flight and do a tour of the South Coast. Then on to Oslo, the Norway in a Nutshell tour and Bergen before boarding the ship.
We knew it might rain a lot and be cold, it did and it was. Several ports were too stormy so our Captain decided not to endanger us and found other ports that were safer and as interesting.
