Itinerary

Day 1: Embark in Kingston

Once onboard and settled, we’ll get to know one another at the Captain’s Punch & Cheese Reception, followed by Crew introductions before dinner.

Day 2: 1000 Islands

The Canadian Empress will meander through Wanderer’s Channel and Admiralty Group of Islands. In Gananoque, we’ll tour the Arthur Child Heritage Museum of the 1000 Islands. On the US side of the islands, we’ll learn about Boldt and Singer Castles. Once in Brockville, we’ll head out on a guided tour of Fulford Mansion. This evening you can stroll the waterfront and see Canada’s 1st Railway Tunnel.

Day 3: Fort Wellington & Iroquois Lock

This morning we’ll tour the National Historic Site Fort Wellington, built during the War of 1812. We’ll cruise along the old Galop Canal, originally opened in 1846, before actually passing through the Iroquois Lock.

Day 4: Upper Canada Village

All aboard the miniature train bound for Upper Canada Village! We’ll be met by horse-drawn wagons to tour the town that reflects Canadian life approximately 150 years ago. We’ll cruise through the heart of the 1000 Islands this afternoon, viewing the Statue of St. Laurens before docking in Ivy Lea.

Day 5: Ivy Lea & Disembark in Kingston

This morning you can visit the 1000 Island Tower before we continue through the Canadian Channel on our way back to Kingston.
