The MV “Northern Dream” is a 65 foot Sea Ranger motor yacht. In Alaska, the yacht offers a variety of trips from whale watching, overnight glacier & kayak tours on the 9-day, 8-night “Discovery” cruise. While on the Columbia River, the yacht offers people the chance to see the best parts of the river while enjoying favorite ports along the way. In our exclusive “Columbia River Wine Tasting Yacht Cruise” we take passengers to various vineyards and wineries along the way. In addition, we take them to museums, places of interest and allow them to visit the Pacific ocean, something other boat companies often do not have time for.
The passenger count per trip is low (only 3 couples) so you are sure to receive extra attention. Each stateroom has a queen sized bed, private well-appointed bathroom, TV and DVD player with over 30 movies to choose from. The boat is spacious with full walk around decks and a front view seating area forward of the pilot house. The upper deck also has comfortable seating with a 360 deg. view. The boat is equipped with a launch boat and kayaks. Additional seating is available in the aft cockpit area as well. The windows are large which allows for great views while dinning or underway. The interior is finished with solid teak and mahogany for a warm and inviting atmosphere. The meals are first class as we have on staff a professional trained chef that prepares all the meals onboard our vessel.
The Northern Dream is owner operated by two licensed captains with many years of experience on both the Columbia River and in SE Alaska. All the crew are US citizens and speak English.
