    Arrive in Salt Lake City, Utah’s vibrant capital and a remarkable town set on the edge of Great Salt Lake Desert. This evening, enjoy a special welcome dinner, a wonderful opportunity to meet your fellow travelers, and later retire to our inviting hotel. (D)

    2CANYONLANDS NATIONAL PARK
    Relax during a scenic drive south to a visual treat, Canyonlands National Park, known for its dramatic desert landscape carved by the Colorado River. You’ll admire the panoramic views from Island in the Sky, a massive, flat-topped mesa. In the evening, enjoy a sunset cruise on the placid Colorado River before arriving to your hotel in charming Moab, where you’ll spend two nights. (B,D)

    3ARCHES NATIONAL PARK
    Tour incredible Arches National Park, where the forces of nature have acted in concert to create a wonderland of eroded sandstone fins, towers, ribs, gargoyles, hoodoos, balanced rocks and, of course, the largest proliferation of arches in the world. After lunch, you’ll have ample free time to discover intriguing Moab at your own pace. (B,L)

    4BRYCE CANYON
    Appreciate a picturesque journey en route to Bryce Canyon, driving through the rugged landscape of Capitol Reef National Park, hideout for the infamous Butch Cassidy and his Wild Bunch. In western themed Bryce Canyon City, begin the first of a two night stay at our carefully chosen hotel. (B,L)

    5BRYCE CANYON
    Marvel at the views on tap as you visit Bryce Canyon National Park, famed for strange orange and red rock formations called ‘hoodoos’, which were formed by erosion over the centuries.     6ZION NATIONAL PARK
    Revel in a glorious day in stunning Zion National Park, so named because early settlers were so inspired by its beauty that they bestowed exalted names on the park and its natural features, including East Temple, the Court of the Patriarchs and the Great White Throne. This afternoon, enjoy time at leisure to relax in this magnificent setting or pursue park activities, perhaps taking the free Zion Canyon shuttle or hiking the park’s scenic walking trails.     Because you can never have too much time in this astounding locale, enjoy free time this morning at the South Rim. You might want to visit El 8, an iconic Grand Canyon Hotel built by the Fred Harvey Company, or discover the area’s many museums and exhibits, hiking trails and scenic lookouts. In the afternoon, depart for Winslow, AZ to board our private train, the Great Western Limited, where comfortable Pullman sleeping car accommodations await. Enjoy drinks served in the unique vista-dome car as you roll west over the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway. (B,D)

    Savor a fine breakfast featuring Santa Fe Railway’s legendary French Toast as you descend Cajon Pass en route to Los Angeles.
