
American Countess – New Paddlewheeler in 2020
The fourth paddlewheel cruise ship to join the American Queen Steamboat Company (now American Queen Voyages) fleet launched on the Mississippi River at the start of the 2020 season. Built from an existing ship hull, the American Countess underwent reconstruction, including being lengthened by 60 feet. The new four deck American Countess accommodates 245 passengers on 6- to 15-day itineraries on the Mississippi, Ohio and Tennessee Rivers.

Deluxe Outside Staterooms with Private Veranda
CATEGORY A | Enjoy the view from your private veranda on Deck 2! These suites are 255 sq ft, plus a 40 sq ft private veranda – no one will be walking thru your private view of the Mississippi River. Choose from a queen bed or two single beds. Relax in the furnished lounge area with sofa and desk.

Outside Staterooms with Open Veranda
CATEGORY B | Welcome to your stateroom on the third deck. These 220 sq ft rooms open to a walk-around deck. You’ll make quick friends with your neighbors, enjoying a snack on the deck while you enjoy the view. Rooms can fitted with queen or two single beds, and include lounge area with sofa and desk.

Inside Staterooms
CATEGORY E | You only need a room for sleeping, because cruises are just too much fun, right? Interior staterooms are 170 sq ft, with a queen or two single beds and writing desk. ADA rooms are 220 sq ft.

Single Outside Stateroom with Open Veranda
CATEGORY SO | The American Countess will only fitted with one single cabin. Solo travelers book early! The room is 180 sq ft with a single bed and open veranda. The stateroom is furnished with a sofa and desk.
